How to do the flaxseed diet

To follow the flaxseed diet, you should consume 2 to 3 tablespoons of flaxseed meal, which is the form in which the seed has the most health benefits. This happens because, when it is whole, the flaxseed is not digested by the intestine and its nutrients are not absorbed, which ends up not bringing health benefits.

Thus, the ideal is to crush the seeds just before using them, leaving the flour stored in a dark, tightly closed jar. This flour made from flaxseed can be added to yogurts, smoothies, milks, soups, salads, fruit juices and chopped or mashed fruits, for example.
